Steve Temming developed PublicSchoolWORKS with the benefit of a wonderful team of school administrators actively employed in 11 school districts – from small rural to large urban. In addition, Steve had an impressive track record in developing and leading innovative programs for public institutions. With more than 22 years of experience working for or in public school districts, his stint as an administrator for Cincinnati Public Schools (CPS) afforded him the opportunity to experience first-hand the challenges and limitations surrounding the business operations side of a public school district (including Environmental Health & Safety), while establishing a number of programs and improvements based on best practices. Prior to CPS, Steve was president of a professional consulting firm and on the faculty of the University of Cincinnati.

Vice President, Strategic Alliances
Tom Strasburger’s professional career spans 20+ years in sales, marketing and management. He has worked with and developed successful market-specific sales and marketing programs and strategies in multiple business segments, including public schools, local and federal government, and Fortune 500 companies. Prior to joining PublicSchoolWORKS, Tom held local and national sales development positions in national office products companies in Dallas, Texas. In his role as vice president, Tom is in constant communication with clients to ensure that systems are functioning smoothly. He has a keen sense for district needs and works to ensure that every customer is using the PublicSchoolWORKS systems to their full potential.

Vice President, Client Services
As Vice President of Client Services, Carrie’s primary focus is on leading the program management coordinator team, providing tools and processes to aide in the support of new and existing customers and strategic planning for the future of customer support. Carrie’s professional career spans 10+ years in education, system implementations, and management. Prior to joining PublicSchoolWORKS, Carrie worked in higher education where she streamlined processes and put appropriate technologies in place such as implementing countless systems, developing technical and logical requirements for system upgrades, testing new system functionalities, developing processes for training faculty and staff, and collaborating with multiple departments for smooth integration. Her experience in higher education and her studies in organizational leadership and informatics has helped Carrie build the Client Services team we know today.

Vice President, Sales
Jeff Blain joined PublicSchoolWORKS in May 2017 as Vice President, Sales. Jeff’s professional career spans 30+ years in information technology and his leadership experience includes sales management and operations, account management, and service delivery. Prior to joining PublicSchoolWORKS, Jeff held vice president-level positions and led local, regional, and national teams. In his role as Vice President, Sales, Jeff creates company-wide sales strategy and leads the PublicSchoolWORKS sales team, which is focused on effectively meeting school districts’ safety and risk management needs.
