Chemical Safety
Eliminate the need for paper binders with this OSHA-compliant database.
Our Chemical Hygiene and Laboratory Safety Program helps districts maintain safe laboratories and prepare students and staff for how to respond to a chemical accident or emergency. Our program provides safety information and training courses to those who work with chemicals, as well as access to an online district-specific SDS database with over 10 million safety data sheets. A chemical safety specialist is available 24/7 through our chemical safety hotline. The chemical specialist is knowledgeable about chemical safety, can proficiently search for and interpret an SDS, and can provide emergency support to staff for chemical exposures and spills. This customizable program also utilizes an inspection program that regularly reviews all equipment, chemical inventory, and other laboratory parts. This program includes the training, tasks, forms, reporting systems and tools needed for a complete chemical hygiene and lab safety program.
