Microsoft Office Program Training for School Personnel

Microsoft Excel

(20 minutes)

This training includes an array of training modules for Microsoft Excel 2016. By taking this training, you’ll learn the basics of Excel and how to: create a workbook; type data in a worksheet; create a basic chart; save your workbook; use flash fill; and use quick analysis. Training for Mac is also offered, as is a Quick Start Guide.

Microsoft OneDrive

(30 minutes)

This training includes an array of beginner and intermediate videos and tutorials on how to use Microsoft OneDrive.
Beginner-level tutorials include: What is the Cloud?; What is OneDrive?; How to Sign in and Create an Account; How to Upload Files; Get Acquainted with the Site; Create and Work with Folders; Organize Your Photos and Videos; Search for Files and Folders; and The Recycle Bin.

Intermediate-level tutorials include: Storage and Options; What is Sharing?; Share with Specific People; Share with Lots of People; Publish to Facebook; Change or Stop Sharing; Receiving a Share Request; OneDrive and Office Online; What is the OneDrive Desktop App?; and Upload and Download Files in the OneDrive App.

Microsoft OneNote

(15 minutes)

This training includes an array of training modules for Microsoft OneNote. By taking this training, you’ll learn what OneNote is and how to: use OneNote in the Cloud; get started with OneNote and notebooks; add sections and pages; maximize your pages; take notes; create a quick note; incorporate a clip from the Web; record audio; capture a screen; insert a picture; copy text from an image; insert a link; create a table; sort a table; and convert a table to Excel. Training for Mac is also offered, as is a Quick Start Guide.

Microsoft Outlook

(15 minutes)

This training includes an array of training modules for Microsoft Outlook. By taking this training, you’ll learn how to: set up your email; compose and send email; stop sending attachments by sharing with email; view unread emails; reply to an email message; search and filter email; and create an email signature. Training for Mac is also offered, as is a Quick Start Guide.

Microsoft PowerPoint

(15 minutes)

This training includes an array of training modules for Microsoft PowerPoint. By taking this training, you’ll learn the basics of PowerPoint and how to: insert things into your presentation; save and share your presentation; and present with PowerPoint. Training for Mac is also offered, as is a Quick Start Guide.

Microsoft Skype for Business

(10 minutes)

This training includes an array of training modules for Microsoft Skype for Business. By taking this training, you’ll be introduced to Skype for Business and learn how to: add a contact; check a contact’s present and instant-message (IM) them; and change your picture. A Quick Start Guide is also offered.

Microsoft Word

(15 minutes)

This training includes an array of training modules for Microsoft Word. By taking this training, you’ll learn the basics of Word and how to: create a document; format a document; insert items into a document; add headers, photos and page numbers; and save a document. Training for Mac is also offered, as is a Quick Start Guide.
